Love a commodity

by runam shaikh   May 15, 2012

Your eyes met, your heart raced, you exchanged numbers, you fell in love and lived happily ever after....
That's what happened befre....
Before love became a game of faith...
A gamble of luck...
A battle to survive...
Why has love changed its meaning and colour...?
Or is it us who have ruined its chastity...?
No Answers, only Questions....
Now eyes go roaming on d body before eyes,
Ass is noticed before heart,
Feelings on the line....soul entwined...but no completion...
Giggles and laughter....Fights and kisses...Patch ups and break ups...
And finally The End....
How has relationships taken this era to be.....
Why arent lovers sticking onto each other with fidelity and love???
Or is love even something...???
Or is it just the illusion of Walt Disney??? Our Prince Charming???
Who was supposed to come and rescue you from your pain and despair and give you a happily ever after........????
Is there anythn such as this???
If all this exists....
Why does my heart beat faster with fear when angry or worried...?
Why are tears more than smiles...???
Why am I lost when coupled???
Why???

Maybe there's no clarity to this...
Only a fact...that the purity of love, the rhythm of faith, the joy of compromise and the reality of undrstnding has left people.....
And love indeed is bcome a commodity....
