Fallen Angel

by Austin   May 16, 2012

For me to LIVE
Then you must DIE
Reveal to the world
All of your lies
The choices you gave them
Is where it all begins
You must know by now
This is the original SIN
Creating fear and doubt
Hoping to not choose WRONG
Yet you still humiliate them
By making them praise you in song
Royal and Regal
High upon your throne
you cast them out of Eden
Was this not the first stone
Deranged, Delusional
A hypocrite I must say
Your false control on man
It ends today
We shall settle this quarrel
Both with blood and sword
I bring my strife to your children
Said the Devil to the Lord

That is certainly something the devil would say to the Lord. And likely, God just does what he always does

... ignores it's ridiculousness. If He even bothers to lend an ear at all.

In this very interesting poem, which I must say I do enjoy analyzing, Satan is saying that God created the original sin, by giving us our free agency and the ability to choose right from wrong as if that is a bad thing. But what Satan doesn't realize is that if we didn't have the contrast between right and wrong, there would be no joy, and no way to compare happy from sad. Yes... there would be no sadness .... but there would also be no happiness.
thus there would be no point.

Satans plan was comprised of turning us all into drones, forcing us through the plan of salvation like sheep.

Satan also accuses God in this poem for humiliating man kind by making man praise him.
But again Satan is a hypocrite, for praise is all he has ever wanted. Not to mention God does not force anyone to praise him. Again we have our free agency. God only wants us to accept him, for through him and him alone is the Gift of eternal life. One must study any topic before they can appreciate it. If you study existence you will find out how much you can TRULY appreciate God and his Son who died for us. And that dieing for us was the only way to give order to the Chaos of our free agency... trust me.

Satan Accuses God for throwing the first stone by casting man out of the Garden of Eden. Of course satan seems to forget that he was the antagonist that temped eve to eat in the first place, hence he threw the first stone if you really think about it. But that beside the point, Satan is Gods child, thus God created Satan. God could have left the serpent out of the garden. God knew that they would partake of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. God is not to blame for and act that he intended to happen. After all... Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have joy. Which brings it back to my first point.... JOY

as far as satan threatening God to a duel at the end of the poem. That would be interesting to see, and who knows maybe one day well see it, tell you right now though... Satan comprehendeth not the light. in other words... that foo gets knock the heck out!!

    Great poem
