Lost Words

by lisa marie   May 16, 2012

These are lost words I'll never find
Though
Someday I'll hopefully fall into the hands again
Of some inspiring lapse of denial and depression.
My entire life has been consumed by
The things I've never seen and
The person I'll never know.

These strenuous attempts
To embrace my soul
Are becoming very fragile
And
The road to find myself
Is foggier than ever.

Defeated and misplaced,
In a world of illusive joy,
Has imprisoned my existence
In a state of constant
Inspirational drain.

There is a seer behind this piece. I can relate with her
"My entire life has been consumed by
The things I've never seen and
    The person I'll never know."
    =
"my best poem , my best song
the one that I would never sing
    is resting upon my thong"
