The abundant life, a poem.

Joy I did seek today. Much pain and sorrow life can bring along the way.

I sought the peace that the world can give, things which we need to live day-by-day.

They did not offer a peace that would endure, by tomorrow, you will need more.

Where is the peace I need? It is found in Jesus, Abraham's seed!

The answer comes from Heaven above, your brother and sister in the Lord you shall love.

Abundant life in Him I did find, through the Holy Spirit, I have His mind.

Love one another is His commandment and the key, this promise is granted to you and me!

"These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full (John 15:11-12 NASB).

To receive this promise from the Lord you must be in the Family of God.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16 NASB)
