I'd like to start over, new,
 end the book, and start again,
Even though I'm happier, my hearts still blue,
 I'm sitting here waiting for my new life to begin!
I can't, so I'll slow down and flip the page,
 I'll let go of the past, and never look back,
Let the music fill my soul, close my eyes and absorb the sage,
 Change what I don't like, and accept what I lack.
I've found myself shining so bright,
 Stop looking for change and let it come,
Open a window, and there are no ravens in sight,
 I'm feeling emotions, I'm no longer numb.
I'll start accepting everything that's happened,
 Renew my soul, and let the cleansing take place,
I am fully awake, no longer am I nappin,
 No longer will I ever let you throw my past in my face!
Serenity to accept all that's been done,
 Wisdom to know where I can improve,Â
Courage to let the old me stay dead and gone,
 Paitence to make the next move! Â
