Girls and monsters

Girls don't seem to understand exactly how much they influence their male counterparts, the first girl a guy falls for usually decides how he will treat the rest because that first girl will nearly always be reflected in the eyes of the rest that follow. If his first love treats him with kindness he will do the same for the next but if she treats him harshly than the next girl will inherit the monster that's left behind.
