Between the lines

My poems they have helped us,
to get where we are today.
You don't need to read between the lines,
to understand the message they convey.
I have put my heart and soul,
into winning back your love.
I have done all i can,
and it seems I've done enough.
I cannot now imagine,
you out of my life.
And i want that day to come,
when i can call you wife.
