Goodbye

by Jewel Cook   May 21, 2012

Through out the day I think about it.

All that happened between us.

And I noticed that I can't stay mad.

All I want is to forgive you.

But I can't handle the pain you put me through.

It hurts to even look at you.

All I see are the bad memories.

Then you look into my soul with your deep brown eyes.

I forget everything for a moment.

I think about the fun we had.

And how good you made me feel.

But things have changed now.

We no longer have the fun we've had.

You and I have drifted apart.

Forcing us to live in separate worlds.

And that's OK.

This is suppose to happen.

Things are how they should be.

So as we drift apart we'll watch each other,

And slowly wave goodbye.
