Fuzzy brain take my pain
Your light dries the rain
Never to know all the slain
They have nothing to gain

Where did I go with that
Close to a heart attack
Not willing to look back
Please cut me some slack

Words lost in my mind
Cluttered every time
So hard to find
So here I go blind

This has a PTSD feel to it. The "slain" part makes it seem like that... many innocent people murdered for no particular reason. It is a mess really. And then when they have nothing to gain, it fits really well.

And then the ending stanza. Everything is in a jumble and messy and confused and it's like a PTSD attack. Nice.

I like the flow. And the rhyme.
