Lies

I finally let myself believe you
And what i thought was the truth
But now i learned something important too
You're a liar that fooled me

You said you liked me so why did you lie
Next time tell me the truth
Cuz it's better then believing a lie

So now you're with her
After you let me believe you really liked me.

    I don't know what to say to this, except that I can really understand your frustration here. A guy once led me on too and then he hooked up with my best friend. Each and every line of your work really strikes my heart because they are what I am feeling. Nice poem!
