Absolutely beautiful. I think the title drew me in, and your poem held such deep sorrow. I like how you implemented the questions that have not just been haunting you in your mind, but in your heart too. Heartfelt, especially at the end, when you declare that you will forever choose this love of yours, and no one else. That what happened in the past was the biggest error.

This is an excellent poem. I understand where you are coming from, and it stinks.

This is full of emotion-it is especially full of regret, and sorrow. I can sense it in every line here. You must've made a mistake and somehow the relationship got ruined, or was affected badly, because of that one mistake.

"You must realize how sorry I've been
Can you not see the tears in my eyes?
The way my voice is sheepish and thin
Cracking when I hear your cries"

The emotion is very strong in this part. I can imagine the pleading going on here :( and it is heartbreaking. I cannot stand to watch someone beg like that-makes me want to cry myself.

Very heartbreaking. I hope all goes well if it hasn't already (and if this is true).
