Red yarn

by Jenn   May 23, 2012

Like a ball of red yarn, you can unravel all of me.
If it will only please you...
Play with me. Make a cats cradle.
Use me. Weave a blanket to keep you warm..
Hold me close to your heart, I'll protect you through any storm.

String me with beads. Let me bring color and creativity into your world.
Like red yarn, in time all the ways I love you will unfurl..
Play with me, use me, or leave me tangled on the floor...
I'll never want anything more.
Just silly little notions...
Just going with the motions...
Of love... For you.

--Wow. I really love this poem, Jenn.

--I love the way you start it like this...so lovely and sweet you are as a mother of your son. I love the way you write this part "Weave a blanket to keep you warm..
Hold me close to your heart, I'll protect you through any storm." I remember my mother when I was a child...and how she care so much about me...hmmm, I can't wait Saturday so I can go home in our town... I really miss them so much:)

String me with beads. Let me bring color and creativity into your world.

--I feel in love in this imagery. Really sweet and touchy.
