I smile

by Baby Monroe92   May 23, 2012

He whispers haunting words in my ear.
and i smile.

"Do it!" he says. his voice is disturbingly welcoming.

My heart seems to skip a beat, teeth cringe, and my head nodding all at once.

and i think to myself, "he knows my deepest secret."

But all along, i smile.

His nightmares inject sorrowness into my bloody veins.

But as always, i smile.

Thunder, lightning, and rain. the main ingredients to his desired recipe.

He points out at the messy note left behind on my desk.

As his voice gets louder and louder, my eyes shut.

And once again, i simply smile.
