It feels as though there is something more deep in this. A person lost in a world of his/her own and is unable to find themselves; then on the other hand there is a capable person and he too is lost in a world not able to find himself. Its like the person is lost in reality and unable to wake up from a dream perhaps...? Not sure that is what I got from this write though...take care.
