I don't even know what to say. This spoke to my heart and just moved me. I'm speechless. This was just beautiful<3 |
The first stanza made me think of living life yet having to earn the precious moments so you appreciate them more. Definitely thought provoking which is excellent. Kind of speechless as well, this is one of those heart tugging poems. You have such a lovely message here, gorgeous title too. 'Tombstone of dead dreams' was one of my favorite parts! Dreaming is important most definitely, if we aren't able to dream we don't have goals & wishes to go off of & strive for. Lovely poem Yaki! |
Yaki, each time I read this poem, which has been quite a bit so far, it just washes over me with such great emotional depth. I love this strong plea for the Lord to listen and not let your soul be emptied of dreams. It's like anything else can happen and you will accept, but your biggest desire is to be able to dream away and live your life in the path of your dreams. |

Ah, to be a dreamless soul would certainly be regretful. Lovely writing... Great concept... Good use of imagery. |
