Dreaming Out Loud

by Aaron   May 25, 2012

I dream out loud,
wherever dreams are allowed,
I must do this often you see
for my mind cannot hold
all of my insanities.

It is foolish, I'm told, to dream what cannot be;
dream out loud I shall, dreaming is a part of me.

Hoping one day to be among the stars;
travel across time
or even-
shoot lightning from these brown fingers of mine
my thoughts make me different, silly and somewhat unsound-
luckily, to society's normality I am not bound.

It is foolish, I'm told, to dream what cannot be;
dream out loud I shall, dreaming is a part of me.
