I close my eyes each night...straining my ears to hear

the tenderness of your voice again each time you talked to me,

the sound of your laughter and the thought of your smiles.

I try to remember even the sound of your breathing when you sleep.

I must be crazy cause even your snoring sounds like lullabies to me.

I close my eyes, hoping to feel the warmth of your embrace again,

i wish you knew how safe I felt

every time you draped your arms around me when we sleep.

I crouch closer to you longing for your heat...

the warmth of your body envelope me with so much peace.

Holding your hand, my head on your heart...i long to feel that kind of heaven again.

I close my eyes each night, tears slowly streaking down my cheek...

i want to keep your memory close forever.

I long to touch your face again,

trace every line and every angle of that God- sent face, I never want to forget.

My heart bursting with love every time i think of you,

wish we can hold each others hands again and hug each other tight until forever.
