King Of Attention Starved Girls

by xoxShorteexox   May 26, 2012

Heroic lines seemed so pointless
when coming from a mouth so impure
with eyes that tell of millions of lies
and ice made into the shape of a heart.

Girls begging for attention from someone
so engrossed with their own appearance
he can't even see past the madness beyond
his thoughts only of himself and no one else.

Tins foil armor and lines of deceive may
make him a king to those attention starved girls,
but he's never found a way to win the affection
he seems to desire so hard from the ones who'll never matter.

Some strong messages in this poem,

Like the ice shape heart analogy,

I also like the fact you show both the man and girls at fault,
    Everybody knows people like these!!

    thanks for the read.
