Lost Love

I tried and tried to make things work,
But you keep on being a jerk,
You said you loved me,
But now we can no longer be,
Why cant you see,
It was not only me,
Our relationship was not that long,
But we were both in the wrong,
You blame it all on me,
Maybe we were just not meant to be.

    I think "keep" should be in past tense also if other lines are in past tense.

    "But you kept on being a jerk,"

    But overall quite nice and can feel emotions from your words so good job ^^
