Are you going nowhere?

by CRAFTY KEN   May 28, 2012

Get out of the bars, look at the stars, what do you see? This wonderland, created for you and me. The soft rain mixed with blue, the rainbow with
its hue. The songbird sings its tune, the melody is sweet, the dew glistens on the grass beneath your feet. The Eagle soars high above, now you see it, the creation from God, with his love.

Nice! short, good flow, lovely words... but I think it needs a bit more feeling into it instead of just description.
    Great write though!

This poem is great! It was well written, and the rhymes were unforced. I am not one who is good at writing the "Religious" poems, but you, sir, are a genius.

    Keep it up!

Thanks Cardwell, we have lots in common.
I too came from a broken family, spent time in a Home for boy's and had an Aunt Rose. Cardboard fixed the holes in my shoes, didn't taste real butter until I was 19. I have walked with the Lord since I was 12. You also know him, he has given you a talent, you have not buried it in the ground!
I see this in your poems and your honesty. Keep up the good work, God bless you my brother. Ken
