It sure seemed like a nice day
to jump, run, glide and play
all i wanted was for you to stay
dont keep me guessing all the way
the sun i am sure was up and about
the rays guiding people not to fall to the ground
but with that light i never found
the one thing that keeps me from doubt
a person kneeling down gave
one heart on a tray to stave
an emotion caught to fade
one day one night to the grave
my eyes play memories i bought
the gleam that could be seen was caught
i applaud myself as i thought
the coward lost because i fought
I maybe mediocre; but so what
i only see other like a dot
Small insignificant rat
i will await in my generous lot
