For You Know Best

by AnotherPlasticSmile   May 29, 2012

Dress me up in all your favorite colors
Pop me full of those happy pills
Tape a smile to my face
And tell me I am wrong

Strip me of all the choices
Lock me up in invisible chains
Cover me up so I show no flaws
Ask "who?" when they say my name

Train me, though I human, like a dog
To bark on command
To roll over on a whim
And only go out when I am man-ed

Use me as you puppet
To play your little games
Make me walk, and make me talk
To take away your shame

Turn me into your slave
That only means to serve
To use me when needed
Otherwise mums the world

Push me down into serfdom
So that I do all the work
But since this is your land
You get all the worth

Paint me up with all your lies
And tell me you know best
Keep me away from the world
For wrong is all the rest

Uhmm, I'm not sure how to critique this one,
I'm not sure how to react to this one,

I just know that no body should control anyone, and that's not what this poem is saying unless there is some sarcasm in it.. though, I didn't sensed it.
