Ode to Life's Perfect Partner

by AnotherPlasticSmile   May 29, 2012

Its bliss in all essence
Relief in every form
The end of one chapter
and the beginning of a million new books

Though the surface is cursed with sadness
with in hides a lining of gold-peace
Rapped in a blanket of release
But never seen until to late
and never felt until the last breath has passed

Feared from the beginning of time
for it gives no warning
and heeds no rhyme
Only that it happens and cannot be stopped

Bloody, silent, or sometimes even planned
A simple theme known through out the land
And by many of names
But a rose called a dog still smells the same
And in all forms it is escape

It is no joke
It is no game
At first there maybe tears
But that holds no shame
Because no matter how much beauty
It will always come with pain

But as time passes
We realize it's always for the best
For it is a sign that our world is in perfect order
And sooner or later it will happen to all the rest

It is what purifies our world
It is why we strive for the now
It is the perfect partner to the perfect dance
It is death

Wow, the ending really amazed me, i felt it was really creative. Your wording was beautiful and the poem flowed really well. I would only suggest you not capitalize all letters, especially at the beginning of a line since other letters seem to be continuing from the previous line.
