Ticking time (life once lost)

The clock ticks away my time.
Laughing at me.
"What are you a joke?"
I sit and wait for it to be over.
All the pain and worry.
Where did I come off
Wasting my life?
With all I loved gone I do
Not deserve.
"Get up"it yells
I remain on the floor
Soaked up in my own insanity.
"Get up!" It screams
What's the point? There
Is no where to run.
"Time's nearly up!" It shouts in a
Panic. I let's a sweet smile crawl onto
My pail lips. I close my eyes waiting for the
Embrace. "Time's up" it says in almost a whisper
My eyes shut tightly. As I loose Conscious the
World fades to black
