Rally Cry

by Thomas   Jun 1, 2012

This for the fallen,
for the victims at home.
For the social outcasts,
for the ones feeling alone

Listen to me,
being sad and depressed
only gets you so far.

Trust me,
you should be devising
plans to go to war.

Because you can't
give up so easy
and admit defeat.

You should raise your fists
and hold them up high.
To prevent blows to face.
Because your enemies will not let up

to get you down,
to put you on your back.
And push your face in the ground

But like every fighter,
you're going to get hit.
But that doesn't mean
that you have to take their shit.

Show them your strength,
show them who's a true warrior.
An slowly fight your way out
of that dark corner.

Cause life may look bad
All hope may seem lost
And all you can feel is sad

But things actually get better.
Just keep on living life.
And surround yourself with good people.

People who will listen
to what you have say.
People that will stay
when you tell them to go away.
