I wish we had stayed together,
all those years ago.
I wish the love we had then,
had been given a chance to grow.
It now seems such a waste,
the lives that should have been.
If only into the future,
we could have seen.
But things are going to change now,
we both now do agree.
If the clock was put back,
we would change our history.
We have to live with what we have,
and what we have is each other.
I am so happy to have had this chance,
