I can't seem to fly
no matter how hard I try
and though I spend all my time just jumping around
I just fall back down to the ground
and everybody
thinks I'm insane
no one understands my pain
they can't see that I'm just a regular guy
who thinks humans are destined to fly
So I keep waiting for it all to become clear
or someone to interfere
and explain why
I can't seem to fly
cause my friends say I'm a fool
and I get bullied at my school
all because I
I wanna soar over the rooftops yeah
shit on gravity, I don't care
I wanna go to the moon
and be back again before noon
and i want to float up in the open air
cruise around the sky with wind in my hair
and i won't give up
cause flying is my fate
and i will learn it someday
