Humanity and Faith

by Michael D Nalley   Jun 6, 2012

I was raised up by Christianity
And somehow kept my sanity
While looking back at crusades
Holy wars with all sorts of blades
Martyrs of the holy inquisition
Held steadfast to their position
Reason has a place in the mind
There's no need for faith be blind
Love, hope and Truth should be the goal
Of every mind, heart, and soul
To live in our own universe as one,
Not so alone, when all is said and done.
