Cursed

by Eduardo Lazalde   Jun 7, 2012

Since the day of my birth I've been cursed.
All this hated I've deserved.
So much hate toward myself.
I wish my life was nothing but a fairy tale.
I do not deserve to be happy.
Too long have I been living in this harsh reality.
So many sins I have committed.
In death all is forgiven.
Even in death my memories will never be forgotten.
Stuck in this depression of contradiction.
Everything I say or do is illogical.
The pain of life is and will be chronicle.
There is nothing more I can do wrong.

This poem is good. My only suggestion would be on the second line turn hated into hatred and the third line turn hate into disgust. Repition isn't always a good thing. But the poem is still good and I can relate to where you are coming from. I'm looking forward to reading more. Keep up the great work. Just maybe work on wording a bit more. But still love it. 5.5
