Dying Inside

by Chloe DeWitt   Jun 9, 2012

One tear drips and one tear drops.
One emotion slips as another stops.
My anger is rising; as my love for life is declining.
With every injustice and deadly fate,
I'm lovin the way that your heart breaks.
Every rejection, calls for another step further.
Every cut, every scar, every shot, every punch;
Are all just fatal actions.
My attempts to suicide are weak,
And the self-abuse just never reaches its peak.
No matter what I do, or what I say,
My pain will never go away.
All this agony and pure hate;
Goes away when I see his face.
My cries and my screams,
Are like marble mace. . .
So destructive and painful,
The same as this life itself.
All the names and little "games",
All lose within themselves after time.
His face, his smile, his kiss, his touch. . .
His hug, his laugh, his hand, his love.
Every one of the above,
Are the only things that can suffice,
For the human life, is all within your own strife.
