What can I do now?

by Kitty Kurse   Jun 9, 2012

Tears dripping, flushed cheeks;
Green eyes turned neon green,
Due to redness.
Heart racing, tiredness overflowing
I tell the truth but still you think I'm full of lies.

Situation is shitty;
The way it seems that not much I can say will make you believe me.

If cats could speak she would tell you I spoke the truth,
But they don't and there is nothing left I can really do.

    It's hard when people tell the truth and nobody wants to believe them.
    Some people just don't want to believe you.
    I hope things are better now for you :(

    Good poem

    Trust is key, somewhere down the line the trust has been broken it seems, so maybe that's why it's so hard for them to believe you? but sometimes other people blow things out of proportion and believe others when the truth is sitting right in front of them... so hopefully things work out. I really like the last two lines about the cat, so true. overall, nice piece. 5/5

    I can see the hurt and pain, not to
    mention the frustration.
    No matter how hard we try to defend ourselves, by being honest
    people hear what they want to hear
    well penned 5/5
