Death's sweet love

by DirtRoadGirl   Jun 12, 2012

He stands alert as the waves comes down,
Watching, waiting, counting minutes, preparing
For the water to claim him, he waits to drown.

Cool waves bush his skin like a lovers touch,
He shivers and moans and excepts death's love,
As she drags him farther into her watery clutch.

The river swells, the rocks in his pockets weigh him down,
His knees give way and he lets her claim him,
Her frezzing kiss claiming his air as he starts to drown.
