Giving up

I'm not even upset , hurt or angry anymore , I've came to realize that things aren't going to change and I just have to accept that . I'm done fighting for you , I'm done making up excuses for you as why you treat me like this . I'm overwhelmed , exhausted . you have me tired of it all . I'm tired of putting more effort than I receive , I'm always the one giving it my all while you don't even give half . I'm tired of holding on , holding for dear life while it seems you have already let go . I'm tired of believing all your lies , I'm tired of you proving me wrong every single time . I'm tired of getting my hopes up and being disappointed again , I just want my happiness and my smile back and I will get it , with or without you.
