We were once closer than the stars and the moon.
No one made me so happy,
but one day that all changed.
We no longer talked as much as we used to.
At first I though it was just me,
then other people noticed it too.
I told you how I felt, and you made me feel better.
You told me I was your best friend,
you mad me feel like we were stronger than ever.
I thought we were going to back to how we used to be,
but now I see that I was wrong.
We really are coming to an end.
Please, don't act like you don't see it.
Don't tell me that I'm imagining things.
Because I know I'm not. I know what I thought is now true.
We are no longer what we used to be.
