Broken salvation

by Alanis   Jun 14, 2012

The world is a Vampire. Sent to drain us of our souls
Our spirits, our joys, our happiness. And when it has finished
It leaves us gasping against the horror it has replaced those
With, broken insanity. We struggle but we choke on that and
Then we go spluttering to out grave. That is the world. The cruel
Barren waste land we are banished to. So we can live the rest of
Our miserable lives in grief and pain, running to anyone who
Screams salvation. Where is you gods now? Left you to die.
We become too desperate to bear and end our lives too early.
And that is youth
