Stopped trying

Thanks to you I know how it feels
What it feels like to get hurt a bundle of times
Not physically of course but through words
Letting my heart know it was time to stop was hard
I stop trying, stopped crying and let my emotion end
I closed that door on my heart
Locked it of course, but once in awhile there's a knock
I drop my life and cry in disbelieve
My whole life i believed in listen to my heart
But this time I ached to much to keep on trying
Trying to make you realize I was the girl for you
But you would say that long distance was in the way
You know what, I made myself believe you were just afraid
But not today, today I say it is done
I am done trying, done waiting for you to call but never do
Even as friends you don't really bother to call
But thanks I can now stop myself before I cry
I can't stop wasting my tears on something thats wasting my life
