Another day nearly over,
lying here next to you.
We spent time with Oliver,
he played the whole day through.
He really wore me out,
like all active four year olds do.

.....Your descriptive words are very good and simple. Loved how you reminisce about the time you spent together with your loved one in this piece. It just shows that you too are happy when you spend time together and i hope it remains that way.

And i am now so tired ,
there is not much more i can do.
Except maybe kiss you,
and say a long good night......

What i like about your poems is the passion that you add into them and the last parts show your passion for your wife. The last two lines really captivated me, it was a great ending to a very sweet poem.
