Such a Place

by Aaron   Jun 15, 2012

I have a place
sort of like a room,
and just like a house,
big enough to hold
a gigantic mouse.

I have such a place
more beautiful that the starriest of night skies,
sort of like a motel
and dirtier than my closet
and fancier than a hotel.

I have a place
that's more homely than my own home,
only I can get in,
there's only one key,
that opens up this perfect inn.

I have a place,
the best place ever,
it is in the most secretive of places
no, it's not a place in my mind
I have a place only I can find.

This is again simple but very well expressed. I really like the way you describe it but never tell us where, however if I read it correctly, some of the descriptions contradict themselves. Anyway, job well done :)

Contradictions were sort of intended. They define me, I'm sort of a contradicting person at times. Glad you liked it.
