She fell

by Khalid M Darwish   Jun 16, 2012

She fell! Yes! She fell!
The girl I knew, that belle!
who looks like a gazelle!
A perfume? Who can tell?
Who can feel that smell?

Inside heart's thin shell
a fire that's hard to quell,
knocking on love knell.
Heart will feel unwell
and so is going to swell!

It's so hard to dwell
with words hard to spell!
My heart she befell!
She said 'No farewell
and we will not repel'.

Heart is feeling well,
singing like a ring bell!
Hate is worth expel
and so are love rebel.
A story worth retell.

Admirable work, to me the rhyming DIDN'T seem forced even though you used the same rhyme throughout the poem. Wonderfully done, I'm impressed. It was also a very sweet poem, 5/5!
