My Dad Rocks

by Robin Montgomery   Jun 17, 2012

For father's day I was going to give you a sock,
but instead, I found this really cool rock
I painted it carefully, with glitter and glue
You ask...how can I use this? I can think of a few...
It can hold down your papers, or prop open a door
However, when you look at it, I hope you think of more
I put a lot of love and care in making your gift
because my "Dad Rocks" was on top of my list!

This was really sweet, the way the thoughts were structure and the thought behind it, was all summarized within that last line.

Sometimes the simplest of the gifts are what have the biggest of emotional value.
