Dear cancer

by empty inside   Jun 21, 2012

You used to be happy
Now you only know sadness
Cancer killed you uncle
Back when you were three
You don't remember much
You hear your family scream

Next it was your great uncle
You when to the funeral
Seen the people you love cry
You hate life you wish it was you to die

Then it was your best friend
For a while he was my only friend
Like a big brother
He saved me
Cancer took over
Destroyed you

Now it's my turn
Cancer you don't scare me
You can take me
Just please don't go to slowly
It's the waiting I hate

Dear cancer you have ruined my life

The fight against cancer is not an easy
battle, but never give up hope.
    I speak from personal experience.
It is devastating to know, a very fearful
thought, it takes lots of strenght coming from within.
