Scar

by Chelsea   Jun 22, 2012

As my gaze falls upon your receding form, i let the tears fall.
Till they choke me and i gasp for air.
Falling to my knees, heedless of the blood and torn denim.
I know they say time heals all wounds, but i know you will have left a scar.
The worst part is that it is all my fault.
Second chances don't exist in the world i live in tonight. Pain is my only companion as i fall on the sheets we once embraced each other upon.
I know this wound will fester for months to years before it blazes the white of scar tissue.

Time does heal wounds the pain becomes
manageable, sadly it does leave scars.
Life however, goes on and we have to try
and move on. There is always something
    better waiting
