Ain't That Something

by Some Random Human   Jun 22, 2012

Now I know that you don't care,
'cause you just took all my air,
and left me choking,
you must be joking,
'cause you came back, you said you wanted more,
then you took it all and walked out the door,
and left me strangling,
while I was dangling,
off a ledge, went over the edge,
then I fell, I went straight to hell,
yeah, ain't that sorrow,
no more tomorrow,
still I begged you to stay,
but you just walked away,
and left me gasping,
at straws I'm grasping,

Hate is all that you will give,
but I need that hate to live,
'cause it's better than nothing,
well, ain't that something,

Down and out and I can't breathe,
this is what you've done to me,
you left me senseless,
and so defenseless,
now I can not just cover up,
and take the blows, I've had enough,
I'm feeling nauseous,
soon be unconscious,
my sight goes black, matter of fact,
I'm on my back, on the mat,
I think I'm done now,
'cause this ain't fun now,
I'm telling you I'm tapping out,
now what are you laughing about,
'cause we just lost us,
you double crossed us,

Hate is all that you will give,
but I need that hate to live,
'cause it's better than nothing,
God, ain't that something,

Hate is all that you will give,
but I need that hate to live,
'cause it's better than nothing,
well, ain't that something,
ain't that something,
God, ain't that something,

And now I know that you don't care,
'cause you just took all of my air,
and left me choking,
now ain't that something...
