I don't think a person reading this will say "I have no idea what you're talking about"..just about EVERY person can relate to this Thomas....

Statring off as a child and being innocent and blind to the world has got to be an awesome feeling that we don't even recognize as children....its when we grow up that we realize we should embraced those years as a kid more because with time, our innocence and views change and we aren't the same as we are when we are little. How you live your life determines if you'll like your new reflection.

Excellent! The different stages of one's life. We start off childhood all eager and innocent to the ways of the world, nothing seems to bother us and problems are far away. All seems pure and good.

As we become adults the innocence is slowly and surely eroded away and what we once felt to be true may be corrupted by the real world around us.

But, we are never exactly the same person inside, things change, but we are wiser, much more cautious and well weathered to the ways of the world. We bear our wounds and our scars with us.

We only see a glimpse of what we once were in our reflections.

The funny thing is I actually did this the other day (though of course instead of boy photos it was me as a girl) lol

I actually remember thinking to myself what happened, what went wrong. How did I end up here. So many things can happen in someone's life that can change the course of it, the direction we take will effect where we end up.

I really love what you have written here. I think because I can relate to it so much that it has hit me hard.

Wow, this is so true! We all look back at our old pictures and try to wonder how life got so turned upside down since then... it seems like ages but it was only a few years ago and life is so different now.
