Some say "get a life", go out tonight!
I say, why not stay home, why roam?
Looking for a good time to end your sorrow,
have a blast; you know it won't last,
How about how terrible you will feel tomorrow.
I've been there; I'll tell you a few things to show that
I care, makes no sense always laying around in your
underwear.
In my younger years I drank many beers, wine,
women and song helped me get along.
Through the years I did love a few dears.
Sad times did come, the gal I loved found
another one.
Life had no meaning without her, with a sigh I cried out to God, why?
I asked the Lord above; please send me someone to love.
One night a pretty lady did stroll by me, she looked familiar, somewhere else, her I did see.
I called out to her; "Loraine" but was not sure the name was right,
She stopped and said; "It's Lillian" to my delight!
A marriage made in Heaven from God above,
my darkness is gone, I now have my true love.
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life." John 8:12 NASB.
