Broken chains

by Alanis   Jun 26, 2012

You look at my outside and feel sorry. The scars and
Hurt that coats my outside like a shield of self pity.
The restless nights have taken their toll on my eyes.
My beauty shows not on the outside but within. Now
I am stronger. Anyone can see. All those who doubted
Me run and cower. All those who laughed remain quite.
My depression ran for it was afraid of what I was capable of.
Now I am not falling for anyone or taking anyone's insane
Insults! Run my enemies! Flee! You will not break me down.
All you made me stronger. Released my inner monster.
Run for you will no longer rest with ease. Run for I am coming for
You.

This mix of sad, inspiring, proud, angry style is really interesting and was enjoyable to read. Sometimes we really just wish to stop letting everyone hurt us and ignore us and just show that we are better than them! ^^ Good job certainly!

P.S. "All those who laughed remain quite." You mean quiet, I think.
