Four Days!!!!

Only four more days 'til Friday
When we're living out our dreams
The time is passing by so quickly
And in the next breath dragging, or so it seems
My emotions are confused
Heartfelt elation that you'll be near
Is compounded by anxiety
"What will he think of me?" I fear...
I'll be sitting in that airport
More than likely thoughts in disarray
Thinking that everything we've hoped for
Is finally happening starting today!
I know you'll be all that you've seemed
That you're not has never crossed my mind
I know I could never someone better
Even in another lifetime hope to find
But what's keeping me awake at night
Is what you'll be thinking when you see...
That this isn't some rose-tinted image
This is really me just being ME.
I love you so much sweetheart
And I know you love me too
These little restless wonderings
Are only because this part is so new...
When we meet in the middle
And you smile and speak to put me at ease
I'll realize that this is just (JUST??) my Craig
And from there it will be a breeze...
We'll walk from that first moment hand in hand
Never looking back but only from this time ahead
Knowing that everything that's happened so far in our lives
Has to this one particular moment led...
Thank God it's finally really here
It's actually happening now
Oh Craig, it's getting much more real
