Making patterns with old worn brands

by Matthew Anthony   Jul 2, 2012

Griping on with claws and fangs
making patterns with old worn brands
sleeping gently in golden sands
well I can say i've lived this land

I may not find a brighter light
or quite know when to fight or flight
or try to delve in a world so tight
I still dont know my wrong from right

but dig me up, disperse the dirt
you'll discover a diamond
it'll make you rich and this you know
as it's so hard to find them

gentle warmth is what we crave
or else we'll see an early grave
and when you've felt this you'll be saved
well, at least until the next time
