Melting

Melting

A day will come when you, my Love, are going to be in my arms.
A day when you will be completely, totally, utterly and absolutely mine.
A day when I will surrender myself to you selflessly.
A day where all that's important is just you and me.

A day where the skies are clear and blue is all you see.
The grass soft and green beckoning our naked feet.
The birds chirp and sing ever so sweetly.
And the butterflies, they flutter around us.

We will laugh, we will play, we will hold hands as we walk.
We shall live and share our lives with each other.
We will be merry, we will be joyous.
And we will know that our love will never grow old.

Ah, and when the sun has set and the birds fast asleep
And all we hear are the chirps of the night,
We will sit by the amber glow of two candles, my Love,
And as they gently melt so shall we.

I will make love to you slowly, softly, gently.
I will make you moan and make you want me more.
And when we finally reach the crescendo together
I will kiss your trembling lips and melt away with you.

And as we watch the flames flickering away
I will hold you close and bask in the moon rays and afterglow.
Tell you that my life has found its purpose
And you, my Love, forever shall be my queen.
