Prisoner of the Sea

by SouthernGal   Jul 4, 2012

Lost at sea, aimlessly drifting away
Waves capture me, pulling me under
I belong to them now, there's no escape
I can only hold my breath for so long
The sea tightens its grip and pulls me down
Nothing above but a blanket of sea
As I leave this forsaken world behind
My last breath escapes me as I sink down
Water fills the canyon that was my soul
It fills the emptiness that was inside
I start to choke on the oncoming death
While the cold water cuts me like a knife
No noe will be able to find me here
Would anyone even notice I'm gone?
I feel more at peace than I ever have
Prisoner, at the bottom of the sea.
